A North Carolina Thanksgiving

Birthday Boy!!:~)

We took Bobby out to Olive Garden for his 38th!!  The food was so good.  Olive Garden is my fave.  What was really even nicer was that his boss and co-workers gave him an Olive Garden gift card, so we saved a few bucks!!   This was a really fun night.  I especially liked it when they  brought out the cake and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to him.  He had no idea that was coming!!  

This is not a great picture of these two, as they both look grumpy. But I wanted to get a shot of Matt's new laptop that he paid for himself!!  He has been saving up for months, and for his 12th b-day he got a lot of birthday money from our family that he put into savings to add to his laptop fund.  At that time, he hadn't saved up quite enough to buy a new one, so his plan was to keep saving.  Well, it just so happened that Bobby works with a girl who mentioned that she wanted to sell hers.  One thing lead to another, and Bobby arranged it so that Matthew could buy it from her for a REALLY GOOD PRICE!!  He loves it.  And I am SO PROUD of him!!
