All About Bobby :)

Most of my posts are about my children, but this time I want to dedicate this one to my handsome husband, Bobby.  I thought it would be perfect, too, since this is also the month in which he was born.  (On Wednesday, Oct. 27 he will turn 38).

But my real reason for this post is because I want to brag on him...Ha! He just found out that out of all the Tower Loans among the three states of MS, LA and MO, he was ranked #2 Manager Trainee for the month of September.  He started working there at the end of July.  They didn't start ranking him until he was there a full month, which was in August.  In August, he ranked around the 40 range, which isn't too shabby for his first month.  That means he was ranked #2 for his second month!   I am so proud of his dedication to his job and to our family. I thank the Lord for providing Bobby with this job that he loves and is doing so well in.  Bobby is a wonderful husband and father. I love you Bobby!  I am anxious to see what else God has in store for us!

Soccer 2010

Well, it just started and it's already almost over!  Soccer season through Upward is only half a season.  I hate to see it end so soon when it seems like she is just getting started!  Actually, she started out pretty good, but has really seemed to improve week by week.  She and Matthew will have to continue to practice between seasons because it has really helped her out a lot.  It also provides them both with exercise, which is something I have been encouraging them to do more of lately.  They both are aware that exercise is important and are really working on that.  We are all making a slow change for the better in our eating habits, as well.  I don't think I'll ever give up chocolate, but I have been focusing on buying healthier snacks for school and home.  Anyway back to soccer, one of the other parents asked me if this was her first year.  When I said it was, she said that she's really good.  I said, "Well you know what can I say"?  Ha! I didn't really say that!  But I have to admit I am pretty proud!  I asked her if she wants to play again next year, and her answer was a definite "YES"!
