Best Friends...
When Makensie found out that her best friend is going to be out of town and won't make it to her birthday party, she was so upset. So as a surprise for Makensie, I invited Emily to spend one night with us a few days before they leave for their trip. What a sweet surprise it was for her!
They were just waking up... :)

Pretty Day
Sunday was beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a prettier day. We went to the park (again), this time after church. The kids (and Bobby & I) had so much fun. Bobby pushed Makensie on the Merry-Go-Round and I thought I'd jump on. So he let me on, and boy I didn't realize how dizzy I'd get. I started screaming, "Stop, stop, stop stop stop"! You get the picture. Yeah, my kids thought I was dying. I scared them so much. I couldn't believe how fast that thing went and it really freaked me out! I used to ride all the wild rides at the fair, but I guess now I'm getting wimpy in my old age. We did really have a lot of fun. Matthew got us going in a race where one of us would time the other to see how many times we could run, climb the steps, and slide down the slide in one minute. We all 4 did this experiment and of course Bobby & Matthew won, but with all the screaming and crazy-acting that was going on, I'm sure the other parents and kids thought we were true, Southern-born red-necks. We didn't care, though. It was a great day :)
