Beach Day...fun in the sun!

Kennedy & Makensie call each other best cousins instead of best friends :)

Reagan was so funny. Every time she would try to walk away from our area, Vicki would say, "Reagan Victoria" and she would make a U-Turn and head right back towards us. So cute!
Yesterday the kids and I went to the beach in Gulf Shores with two of my sisters (Gwen & Vicki) and their families - Marc, Kennedy, Jackson and Reagan came with Vicki. Dana, her husband Jordan, Katelyn, and her friend Sarah came with Gwen. It was so very nice. The water was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. It wasn't unbearably hot and humid like we are used to in the south; it was actually cool and breezy. I could have stayed all day. I must say it was one of the most enjoyable beach days that I have had, and that is saying a lot because I have been to the beach many many times in my 35 years :)

Makensie and a little girl whose name was "Reagan". How neat is that!

Makensie had a blast. She always has the best time at the beach. She was wiped out. She actually fell asleep on her innertube while in the water. Here she is on the way home stretched out on the backseat. Matt took this picture. I was driving :)
My "Hot" Man :)
I just thought I'd throw this one in there of Bobby cooking dinner a few nights ago. These burgers and chicken were so good! And doesn't he look hot??? Hehe! Look at that physique. I'm so proud of him for losing 20 pounds! And he did it so fast! Now if I could just lose 10 and keep it off!

This is where Makensie wants to have her party for her 8th Birthday. She starts planning her parties a year in advance.
Another Park

I try to create different outings so the kids can continue to exercise throughout the summertime. It is hard, though, with having to work too. But it is worth the effort to try to keep them staying healthy. Matthew, especially, really needs the exercise since he doesn't play sports. Makensie will be taking either ballet or soccer next fall. Matthew will stick to piano, so he's the one that I really need to work on. I have started getting him to walk with me during the times that I walk on the track at the junior college. And with the weather as unseasonably cool as it is, it is really nice.
