My Birthday

I turned 35 yesterday. I got my first ice cream cake - it took 35 years, but I finally got one!! And it's Snickers!! It is SO YUMMY! Thank you, Bobby!!
Bobby switched his off day from Wednesday to Saturday so that we could spend the day together as a family. I got to do my two favorite things: shopping and eating. And we also went to see a movie.
I just want to say thank you to my wonderful husband and children for spending my birthday with me and thank them for my CATO gift card! I haven't used it yet because I plan to do some serious shopping, and when I go to CATO, I am usually in there a long while. I love you guys so much. You three are my life!

This last picture is part of an article that was in our local newspaper. This is a picture of a boat ride field trip that the 5th-11th grade students at Matt's school went on. Matthew was the only one who took a camera that day, so guess who took this picture? And it made the news!!!

New Year's Eve...

First off, we went to see Ms. Peggy to get Bobby's and Matt's hair cuts. She has been cutting our hair for YEARS. She cut my hair before I got married. Then after we got married, Bobby started going to her. Then our kids were born and we have been taking them to her ever since. We love Ms. Peggy's hair cuts!

Next, we went window shopping...

**We were actually searching for a restroom here. That's why Bobby is way ahead of us.

Then, we ate lunch at Olive Garden - one of mine and Bobby's faves...:)

New Year's Day...

I woke up on New Year's Day with a hankering to clean out closets and drawers. And what better day than the first day of the new year to organize and get rid of old stuff. So, I just started pulling things out and organizing. Then Bobby joined me (after a little hinting on my part). We also took our old things to the Goodwill drop-off store and donated the things we don't want anymore. The kids didn't help much, but they enjoyed the experience. It was a short but fun trip down memory lane.
Then Bobby pulled out Makensie's bike (which is now too small for her) and tried to teach her how to ride it...
